  • The $500 Jessica Clyne Memorial Scholarship will be awarded for a period of 10 years beginning in May, 2006 to a graduating senior at Kearney Catholic High School.
  • First priority in awarding the scholarship will be to a student planning to enroll in a Nebraska Community College in the Fall term immediately following graduation and to an individual who has been actively involved in the music program at Kearney Catholic High School.
  • If there are no Kearney Catholic High School graduating seniors pursuing college careers at a Nebraska Community College, the scholarship will be awarded to a student actively involved in the school’s music program who will be attending a four year college or university.
  • Interested students will complete the school’s standard scholarship application to become eligible for the scholarship.  Scholarship applications will be available around March 1 each year.
  • Selection of the scholarship recipient will also include consideration of the student’s overall grade point average, class rank, college entrance exam scores, moral character, leadership, school involvement, and community service.
  • The scholarship will be presented at the school’s annual Senior Honors Night program with a plaque or certificate being presented to the winner.
  • Scholarship proceeds will be paid directly to the recipient’s college or university choice to be used for tuition, room and board, books and other college related expenses.
