Kearney Catholic High School Foundation elects Board Members

Randy Kratochvil of Kearney will serve his second year as the president of the Kearney Catholic High School Foundation.  He was re-elected at the January meeting of the Foundation board.

Executive officers are:  Tim Mannlein, vice-president; Patricia Matson, secretary; and Julia Rodehorst, treasurer. 

New board members are:  Bridget Sharp and Dan Shundoff.  They replace retiring members Tom Connely, George Janning and Ben Hirschfeld.

The Kearney Catholic High School Foundation was established in 1980 to promote and expand the base of Catholic education in the Kearney area, according to Cindi Richter, Foundation Director of Development.  In 2008, an endowment fund drive, Phase II of the “A Proud Past.  A Promising Future.” Campaign, was held to raise $1.5 million.  The campaign is over half way to the goal at $811,000 and still growing, she said.
